Sandbag armored wall (HESCO) 2 is a resin diorama accessory in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog: a section of a modern barrier wall of wire baskets filled with soil.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin diorama set in 1:72 scale, not a kit of a vehicle. It represents a section of a modern protective wall formed of wire baskets with a textile liner, filled with soil or sand (a system of the HESCO or Concertainer type). The designation 2 sets this variant apart from the other parts of the line with a different shape and length of section.
Barrier walls of filled baskets have become a typical item of field bases, checkpoints and protected positions in present-day conflicts since the turn of the millennium. They are built quickly, they absorb splinters and direct fire alike, and in dioramas the series of baskets suits a background as well as the breaking up of a scene around vehicles and figures.
First wash the remains of the release agent off the parts, cut the sprue gates off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. You bring the surface to life with acrylic paints, dust pigments and a light brightening of the edges, which brings out the texture of the wire mesh and the fabric.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the target model are not included in the package.
