A plastic kit of the Bushmaster wheeled armored vehicle in the version for special forces, 1:72 scale. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Bushmaster is an Australian wheeled armored vehicle intended for the safe transport of soldiers. It is not an infantry fighting vehicle, but an armored personnel carrier built above all against mines and improvised explosive devices: the hull has a V-shaped bottom, which directs the pressure of a blast to the sides, and the crew sits high above the ground. It proved itself in Afghanistan and in Iraq and is used by more armies than the Australian one. The version for special forces can be told by the massive front frame and by the remotely operated weapon station on the roof, which the gunner operates from inside.
A kit of the model in 1:72 scale. The parts are unassembled and unpainted, and for the build you need cement for plastic kits, paints and the basic modeling tools. The number of parts, the extent of the decal sheet and the recommended shades are stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
In 1:72 scale the vehicle is small, so the result is decided by the cleanness of the work. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part, sand the remainder down and fill the joints, so that no trace is left on the large flat sides. Apply the base shade in thin coats and complement it with shading and emphasis on the edges, otherwise the model looks flat. At the end it pays to suggest dust and a deposit of mud on the lower part of the hull and on the wheels; vehicles of this kind in service are only exceptionally clean.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
