An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.8 heavy half-track artillery tractor in 1:72 scale by Trumpeter. It is a new tooling with clear parts, one-piece tracks and a decal sheet that allows several particular vehicles to be built in different finishes.
The Sd.Kfz.8 was one of the heaviest German half-track tractors of the Second World War. It served above all as the means of towing heavy guns, for example the 21 cm mortar or large-caliber guns and anti-aircraft weapons. Thanks to its high towing power it was one of the mainstays of the German artillery.
Work with thin cement for plastic and fit the one-piece tracks as described in the instructions. Paint the interior and the running gear before you close up the body. After the base color from an airbrush you bring the vehicle to life with washes, chipping and dust pigments, which underline its working service in the field.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
