The set holds a resin nose of accurate shape for a model of the British de Havilland Sea Vixen FAW.1 carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory from Quickboost (Aires) that replaces the part of the kit with a casting of truer shape. It is not an airplane model but a detail set that corrects the shape of this area.
The de Havilland Sea Vixen was a British twin-boom carrier-based jet fighter of the 1950s. The shape of the nose with its radar cover has a strong effect on the overall silhouette of the machine. A nose of faithful shape sharpens the characteristic profile of the forward fuselage.
Wash the resin part to remove the release agent, separate it from the casting block and dry-fit it carefully to the fuselage of the kit. It is worth filling and sanding the transition. Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). When sanding resin, protect your airways and ventilate the area.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
