An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engine Siebel Si 204 in 1:72 scale, in its transport form (Passagierflugzeug). The package holds plastic parts, a clear glazing part, decals and building instructions. The kit captures a compact multipurpose aircraft with a glazed nose and a low-set cockpit.
The Siebel Si 204 was a German twin-engine aircraft of the period of the Second World War that came about by developing the Fh 104 type. It served as a light transport, liaison and training machine, among other things for training crews. It was built after the war as well and a number of European operators used it. Characteristic features were the glazed front of the fuselage and, depending on the version, inline engines.
With a glazed nose it pays to mask the glazing frames and to finish the cockpit interior before gluing the fuselage together. Use thin cement on the plastic parts, sand the joins and treat the surface with a primer. Lay matte camouflage finishes on with an airbrush and apply the decals onto a smooth gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
