Figures of airmen in 1:72 scale for the Swedish Viggen aircraft in the SK-37 and SK-37E versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Viggen was a Swedish supersonic combat aircraft with a prominent double wing. The SK-37 version was its two-seat training adaptation: behind the pilot a second, higher-set place for an instructor was added, so that he had a view forward. Some of these two-seat machines later received the SK-37E modification, in which an operator worked in the rear place. Both versions are given side by side in the name of the set.
These are figures of airmen in 1:72 scale, that is, an accessory that gives a model both scale and a story. One of the figures is captured at the moment of climbing the ladder into the cockpit, and another is the figure of the instructor or the operator. Scenes of exactly this kind are worth building around a model that would otherwise stand alone on a base.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent before painting and let them dry, so that the paint holds. Apply the paint in thin coats; with a flight suit a darker tone into the folds and fine lightening of the edges with a dry brush help. Finish the helmet and the visor with the finest brush right at the end, as gloss varnish on the visor adds the appearance of glass. Try the figure dry in the position you intend before gluing and choose the glue according to the material of the figure.
The figures are supplied. A model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
