A set of precisely pre-cut self-adhesive Peewit masks intended for painting a plastic model of the two-seat Supermarine Spitfire T.8 and T.9 trainer versions in 1:72 scale. This is not a kit or a finished model — these are painting masks that reliably cover the frames of the glazing of both cockpits and the other glazed areas when paint is sprayed. On the two-seat version with its longer canopy the mask covers more glazing at once. The masks are shaped to fit a specific kit in the given scale.
The Spitfire was a British single-seat fighter aircraft with an elliptical wing and a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The designations T.8 and T.9 belong to the two-seat trainer conversions, in which a second, raised cockpit for the instructor was built in behind the original one. Machines converted in this way served for training and for the conversion of pilots after the Second World War, and some of them went to foreign operators as well.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
