This is a set of turned metal detail parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER — 14 static dischargers of the type used on MiG jets, 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but a more accurate replacement for small plastic or photo-etched parts.
Static dischargers are thin rods on the trailing edges of the wings and tail surfaces that lead away the charge built up in flight. On models they tend to be hard to make and easily damaged, so a metal version is both truer and tougher.
Drill small holes in the trailing edges and glue the metal dischargers into them with cyanoacrylate. Work out the placement according to the documentation for the particular MiG type. Apply a primer before painting and leave the fitting to the very end of the build.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
