This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the American eight-wheeled Stryker M1127 RV armored vehicle in 1:72 scale from 3R Model. The 2 in 1 box makes it possible to build two variants of the vehicle. The kit contains 3D-printed tires and photo-etched parts for fine detail in the small scale.
The Stryker is an American eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier, and its M1127 RV (Reconnaissance Vehicle) version is meant for reconnaissance and surveillance. It supports reconnaissance units in gathering information and observing the enemy. The eight-wheel chassis offers a combination of mobility and protection that suits urban and open terrain alike, and the Stryker family is one of the mainstays of the American brigade combat teams. The reconnaissance version is normally equipped with observation and communication systems for gathering information.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from the print supports and clean them up; glue the plastic with liquid cement and the fine parts with cyanoacrylate glue. In the small scale take particular care that the joints are clean and level, so that the shape of the hull is not lost. Spray the kit over primer and bring the panels out with gentle shading in a lighter tone. Fine-tune the weathering with washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear and the wheels. Paint the antennas, the equipment and any armament separately for clean detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
