Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet SU-122 self-propelled gun from UM in 1:72 scale. The set offers faithful detail of the hull and the running gear and, depending on the release, holds photo-etched parts and a decal sheet. The model captures one particular production configuration of the SU-122 on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank.
The SU-122 was a Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the T-34 tank and armed with a 122 mm howitzer. It served for direct fire support and for destroying fortifications. It was produced in 1942 and 1943. It was in effect a combination of a proven chassis with a powerful howitzer.
Assemble the running gear and the road wheels before you close the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. Lay the paints on with an airbrush and create the weathering with dark washes and dust pigments on the underside and in the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
