A photo-etched add-on set in 1:72 scale for a model of the Russian Sukhoi Su-57 fighter. Metal parts for refining the detail of the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sukhoi Su-57 is a Russian twin-engine combat aircraft of the latest generation. Its shape is marked by the effort to reduce the radar return: the edges run in only a few parallel directions, the transitions between fuselage and wing are smooth, and the main armament is hidden in internal bays in the fuselage so that it does not break the outline. From this it follows that a model of this aircraft lives off clean surfaces and sharp edges, and any detail that is too thick or too soft shows on it at once.
This is a set of photo-etched parts in thin sheet metal intended for models in 1:72 scale. Etching makes it possible to produce very thin flat features that a plastic part in this scale cannot reach, and to carry detail that cannot be impressed into plastic. Which parts of the aircraft the set covers and where the individual parts belong is set out in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade resting on a hard surface, not with scissors, which bend the thin edge. Sand the remains of the tab down with fine abrasive paper, otherwise the part will not seat. Make the bends along the marked score lines, press the part against a straight edge and fold it in one movement. Polystyrene cement will not bond metal parts, so use super glue applied in a tiny amount. Degrease the surfaces before painting and let them dry properly.
This is an add-on set. The aircraft kit, paints, glue and decals are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
