A photo-etched set in 1:72 scale for a model of the Russian Su-57 fighter. It adds fine metal parts with crisp edges to the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-57 is a Russian single-seat fighter of the newest generation with two turbofan engines. The design is drawn with reduced observability in mind, which is why the aircraft has faceted outlines, canted tail surfaces and carries its armament in internal bays instead of on pylons under the wing. In 1:72 scale the model comes out fairly small, so every extra crisp detail shows up well on it.
Photo-etched metal parts in 1:72 scale for adding to a Su-57 model. Sheet metal allows thin-walled and crisp shapes that injection-molded plastic cannot manage in this scale, above all grilles, instrument panel faces and small protruding elements. Which parts the set contains and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so check that it matches your model in advance.
Cut the parts off the fret with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the remains of the tab down so that the part sits flush on the model. Degrease the metal before work, as fingerprints can spoil the finish. Make the bends over a sharp edge or in a bending tool, not with your fingers. Glue with cyanoacrylate applied in a tiny amount and spread with the tip of a piece of wire. Use a primer on the metal and only then the shade, otherwise you will sand the finish off during further handling. Keep the small parts on a dark surface while you work, as they get lost on a light board.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
