A photo-etched set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale intended for the detailing of a model of the French Dassault Super Étendard carrier-based attack aircraft. It holds fine photo-etched parts for sharpening the cockpit and the exterior, which will replace the thick-walled plastic elements with thin and faithful metal parts. It is not a model of an airplane in its own right but an accessory raising its detail.
The Dassault Super Étendard was a French single-seat carrier-based attack aircraft put into action with the navy from the end of the 1970s. It served for attacks on ground as well as naval targets and became known for the use of anti-ship guided missiles. French and Argentine naval aviation operated it.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and glue them with super glue. Make the bends over a bending tool or a sharp edge. Bring the unpainted parts into line with the surrounding coat, and small surfaces can be brought out with a patina.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. It calls for the matching base kit, which is not included in the package.
