A photo-etched set of accessories for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc fighter in 1:72.
Responsibility details are not available.
Etched parts for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc in 1:72. The etching is as thin as sheet metal in scale, so it replaces shapes that injection-molded plastic in a small scale can only suggest with engraving. The extent of the fret and the position of the individual parts are given in the enclosed instructions from the manufacturer.
The Spitfire is one of the best known British fighters of the Second World War and the Mk.V was one of the most numerous versions. The letter c at the end of the designation refers to the so-called universal wing, which allowed the armament fit to be changed according to the task without rebuilding the whole wing. That is why machines of the same version differ in period photographs, and when building it pays to choose a particular aircraft in advance rather than after the parts are glued on.
This is an add-on set for a kit. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The recommended procedure for working with etched parts is given in the instructions from the manufacturer.
