An accessory set for a model of the German Tiger I heavy tank in 1:72 scale. The extent of the parts is given in the manufacturer instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War. It combined strong armor with an 88 mm gun that could hit a target at a range most of its opponents could not reach. The price was weight and demanding upkeep: the machine used a lot of fuel, overloaded its transmission and gave trouble on bridges and in rail transport, which is why its road wheels and tracks had to be changed as well. It is exactly the interleaved road wheels and the wide tracks that make the Tiger recognizable at first glance.
This is an accessory set for a finished kit of the Tiger I in 1:72 scale, that is parts that are added to the model. The extent of the package and the purpose of the individual parts are given in the manufacturer instructions; check against them, too, which kit the set will fit. In the small 1:72 scale it is additions of exactly this kind that decide, because the model on its own offers few places where work with detail can be shown.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a short distance from the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the finish holds badly. Super glue holds better on resin as well as plastic parts than cement for polystyrene. Try the arrangement dry first and only then glue; small parts are easier to paint on their own and to seat on the model once finished. At the end tie the whole together with a wash and dust, so that the added parts do not look like a foreign element.
The tank model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
