Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American piston-engined Sikorsky UH-34 Choctaw helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The box contains parts in gray plastic, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model faithfully captures the characteristic tall fuselage with the radial engine housed in the front.
The Sikorsky H-34 Choctaw is an American helicopter originally developed for the navy for anti-submarine work and derived from the UH-19 type. It is powered by a single radial piston engine housed in the nose. In the transport version it could carry about a dozen soldiers, or wounded on stretchers on medical flights. Besides the American forces it served with a number of other armies. The schemes offered include machines of European operators.
Join the plastic parts with thin modeling cement. Glue the tall fuselage in stages and sand the joints carefully. Finish the interior before closing it up. Apply a primer before painting, then spray with an airbrush. Light weathering and an emphasis of the panel lines will bring the look of an older machine to life. A gloss clear coat compatible with the paint will prepare the base for the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
