U.S. 105 mm empty cartridge case (1:72) is a resin set of empty cases from Firma49: a detail accessory for the American 105 mm howitzer.

This is a set of detailed 3D-printed resin parts in 1:72 scale, not a kit of the gun. The set captures the empty fired cases of the American 105 mm howitzer and serves for finishing off smaller dioramas at a firing position.
The American 105 mm howitzer used separate-loading rounds; after a shot a brass case was left behind and thrown clear by the crew. Piles of empty cases are typical features of an active artillery position.
Separate the parts carefully from the carrier blocks, clean the faces up and wash them in lukewarm water with detergent. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). At a small scale work with a sharp knife and a magnifier. Paint them in brass shades; a darker wash brings out the used look.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and a model of the gun are not included in the package.
