An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M5A1 light tank in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby. The package holds plastic sprues, decals and assembly instructions; photo-etched parts and tracks complement the set. The model is intended to be glued and painted.
The M5A1 was an American light tank of the Stuart family, powered by a pair of gasoline engines. In the Second World War it served with the armored and reconnaissance units of the United States and its allies and carried a gun of 37 mm caliber. It stood out for good mobility and reliability and was fielded on most theaters of the war.
Use liquid cement on the plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the small parts off carefully and finish the running gear before you close the hull. We recommend a primer, an olive finish with an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments on the lower areas and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
