The model is factory-assembled, painted and given its markings, so it is ready for the display case straight away. The form corresponds to a vehicle deployed in Syria in 2020. It is not a kit; no modeling work is called for.
The M1134 Stryker ATGM is the anti-tank variant of the eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier Stryker. In place of the infantry compartment it carries an elevating assembly with the launcher of TOW anti-tank guided missiles, which can be raised above the level of the hull to fire from behind cover of the terrain. The vehicle forms the anti-tank element of the Stryker brigades and complements the transport and reconnaissance versions of the family. Stryker vehicles were deployed in the past decade in the Middle East as well, where they proved themselves thanks to their high road speed and their lower maintenance demands compared with tracked vehicles.
Display the model out of direct sunlight, because ultraviolet radiation changes the shade of the finish and the printing over the long term. Wipe dust away with a soft brush, or blow it off with a bulb. Avoid solvents and cleaning sprays. When handling, hold the model by the hull, never by the launcher assembly, the antennas or the mirrors, which are the finest parts of the casting. The vehicle suits a group with other modern armored vehicles in the same scale and shows up well on a dark base, which brings out the desert shade.
