Petlyakov Pe-2 weighted wheels 1:72

This is not a model of the aircraft but a resin (3D-printed) set of wheels for models of the Soviet Petlyakov Pe-2 bomber. The wheels have a flattening where they touch the ground (under load) that imitates the bulge of a tire under the weight of the aircraft, along with a finely drawn tread and hub.

Use

  • Replacing the plastic wheels on a Pe-2 model in 1:72.
  • A realistic flattening of the tire where it touches the ground.
  • Suited to a model standing on the ground.

Usage tips

  • Wash the parts free of print resin residue and let them dry.
  • Cut the print supports off and clean the contact face up.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue.
  • Set the flattening square to the ground.

The accessory is supplied as a resin casting, unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
