A photo-etched detail set for the Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka model 11 in 1:72 scale from Brengun is an accessory to a kit you have already bought, not a model of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket accessory from the Czech company Brengun on a sheet of thin etched metal. It is cut for the Brengun kit and serves to complete a model you already own. The set does not make up a model on its own.
The subject is a very small Japanese rocket-powered machine from the end of the Second World War, so even in 1:72 scale the model comes out small in size. It is on kits this small that the ratio between the thickness of a plastic part and the real structure is least favorable: bulkheads, the seat, belts and small external features are inevitably thick out of a mold. Etched sheet in tenths of a millimeter evens that out and both interior and surface gain the fineness the scale calls for.
Separate the parts with a scalpel on a hard surface and hold them with tweezers; with small pieces it pays to work over a light surface so that they do not vanish on you. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two blades. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with a primer, otherwise paint will not hold on the smooth surface. It is bonded with super glue applied with a pin, as cement for plastic will not bond metal. Finished small parts are best fitted only after the surrounding areas are painted, so that they are not bent during masking.
The accessory is supplied on its own and unpainted. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
