Size 3 is the thickest of this series: it picks up more paint and suits smaller areas, base coats and larger details rather than the finest engraving. It is a modeling aid for painting, not a kit: nothing is built from it and it is not glued to the model.

Use

Care of the brush

A brush lasts a long time only if you look after it. Never let paint dry in the hair: clean it right after the work, acrylics with water, with a brush cleaner for dried acrylic paint, and enamels and lacquers with the appropriate thinner. Do not dip the brush up to the metal ferrule; paint that gets into it splays the hair for good. After washing, shape the hair into a point with your fingers and let it dry tip up or lying flat. Never stand a brush tip down in a jar of water or thinner and do not press on the tip while painting.
