This is a diorama accessory from Dynamo-Models, not a kit and not a figure. The plaque relates to the unit from the name and is used for permanently marking the base of a scene, a display case or a stand. The size of 40 mm is given in the name of the product. The manufacturer gives neither the material, nor the number of pieces, nor the state of the surface.
Landstorm is an older Dutch and German designation for a home guard, that is a territorial force intended for the defense of its own country. It was precisely out of such a home-guard formation that the unit with the sequence number 34 developed. Unlike most of the volunteer divisions it was not committed on a distant front but stayed mainly on Dutch soil and fought in its eastern part in the last months of the war. The word Nederland in the honorific name has stayed in its Dutch form.
Scenes from the Netherlands tend to be built on water canals and low dikes, where there is little quiet area. So fit the plaque to the vertical wall of a plinth rather than into the terrain itself. If the plinth is covered with self-adhesive film or with veneer, test the adhesion on an offcut of the material before you glue the plaque on permanently. Cyanoacrylate glue applied in spots holds well; with absorbent surfaces an epoxy resin proves itself.
