Two figures of pilots of the OV-10A Bronco aircraft standing, in 1:32 scale. They will enliven a model on a stand as well as a whole diorama scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The OV-10 Bronco is an American observation and light attack aircraft with a pair of tail booms and a glazed forward section, which gives the crew a view in almost every direction. The machine was built for working low above the ground, for directing air support and for reconnaissance, and it was therefore reckoned with for operation from short and unpaved strips too. The OV-10A variant was the first version introduced in production.
In the package are two figures of pilots in a standing stance. The designation type 1 sets this pose set apart from the other sets of the same series, so that a scene can be put together from different figures.
First rid the figures of the excess material: cut it off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder with fine abrasive paper, watching out for the small protrusions of the equipment as you do so. Wash the surface in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry off. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; cyanoacrylate glue is the universal choice and holds even where cement for polystyrene fails. Paint over a base coat and finish the faces and the hands with a wash and a dry brush.
The figures will be appreciated by modelers who want to give a large scale a support of scale and to show the size of the aircraft in a scene. Painting figures in 1:32 scale is rewarding, because a face has enough room for shading.
The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
