A three-dimensional puzzle of the Eiffel Tower, which goes together from flat parts into a standing model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice structure in Paris, built for the World's Fair of 1889 to a design from the office of Gustave Eiffel. At a height of over three hundred meters it was the tallest structure in the world for decades, and its open-work construction became one of the best known outlines there is. It is exactly that open skeleton of girders that makes the tower a rewarding subject for three-dimensional assembly: the finished model is airy and plays with the light.
A three-dimensional puzzle goes together from flat parts, which are joined into a standing shape. It is therefore not put together on a board like a picture; what comes out of it is a real three-dimensional model that can be stood on a shelf. The exact number of parts, the height of the finished model and whether glue is needed during the assembly are given by the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Work on a flat surface and first sort the parts out by their numbering or shape. Follow the instructions from the bottom up: the lower part forms the base that holds the shape of the whole structure, and joints left loose at the bottom are hard to put right later. Push the parts into one another squarely and without force. Stand the finished model out of the reach of direct sun and wipe it only with a soft dry brush.
The puzzle will be appreciated by those who like buildings and want to put a model together without modeling tools, and by parents looking for an activity you can sit down to together. Paints, glue and other accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
