4BO Russian Green

4BO Russian Green (Mr.Paint)

A Soviet protective green paint from the Mr.Paint (MRP) line on an acrylic lacquer base. It matches the standard Soviet shade 4BO, the single protective green that armor, guns and other military equipment of the Soviet Union were painted in. The paint is supplied as an acrylic lacquer pre-thinned for spraying straight from the bottle with an airbrush, with a fine pigment and quick drying.

Use

• Intended for airbrush application; the paint is ready to spray directly and usually needs no further thinning.
• If needed, it is thinned with a lacquer thinner matching this line.
• Apply in thin coats over a cleaned surface (plastic, resin, metal), ideally over a suitable primer.
• Suitable as the base shade of Soviet tanks and equipment; it takes later weathering with washes and pigments well.

Who it is for

For modelers building Soviet armor and equipment who work with an airbrush and with lacquer paints. Mr.Paint paints are intended primarily for an airbrush, not for ordinary brush painting.

A lacquer-based paint and flammable. Use it in a well ventilated space and with respiratory protection (a respirator), out of the reach of children and away from open flame.
