An aftermarket accessory, not a whole model. The turned metal barrel replaces the plastic barrel from a kit of the Japanese medium tank and gives the gun of 75 mm caliber a faithful straight profile and a sharp muzzle end.
The Type 3 was a Japanese tank gun of 75 mm caliber, the main armament of the Type 3 Chi-Nu medium tank from the end of the Second World War. It was based on a field gun of the period and was one of the most powerful weapons mounted in a Japanese tank of that time. The Chi-Nu was built in small numbers and was held back for the defense of the Japanese home islands.
Remove the plastic barrel, clean up the mating surface and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate or epoxy. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer for the airbrush so that the paint holds well.
This is a separate detail accessory (a metal barrel), not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
