A figure 75 mm tall belongs to the world of collector's figures, where the main work lies not in the build but in the painting. The 75 mm measurement gives the height of the subject. Against the tiny figures that go with military kits this is a format on which the face, the hands and the drawing of the cloth all come into their own, which is why painters who want to show more than a colored uniform reach for it. A larger area forgives less: every unfinished transition or coarse brush stroke shows on the finished figure. At the same time it lets you work with shades, with shadow in the folds and with the direction of the gaze, which simply is not possible in small scales. Expect one figure to take more time than a whole model of a vehicle.
First wash and degrease the parts so that the paint will hold. Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the marks left by production. If the figure is made up of several parts, try joining them dry first and fill the seams after gluing. Paint from the base coat through the shades to the highlights, and leave the face for a time when you have a steady hand. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts given in the manufacturer's instructions.
It is aimed at collectors and figure painters who are looking for a larger format and want to display the finished work on its own. Unless stated otherwise, expect the figure to be supplied unpainted and paints, glue and a base not to be included in the package.
