A pre-cut self-adhesive mask set in 1:48 scale for the clear parts and for the landing gear wheels. The double-sided version has masks for the outer and the inner side of the framing, so the frames visible from inside the cabin can be painted too. The masks are cut out and numbered. The manufacturer intends the set for the ICM AH-6J Little Bird kit. It is not a model of the helicopter or a part of one, but an aid for painting.
The AH-6J Little Bird is a light attack helicopter of the US Army for special operations, derived from the small single-engine machines of the OH-6 and MD 500 family. It has a glazed cabin with a large area of transparencies and is usually armed with machine gun pods and rocket pods on side mounts. On a cabin glazed like this the framing is visible from inside as well, which is why double-sided masking makes sense.
For modelers who build the AH-6J in 1:48 scale and want the cabin frames painted on both sides. On a helicopter with such a large glazed area the inner framing is visible even with the doors closed, so the work put into it is worth the effort. The wheel masks also make it easier to separate the rim from the tire.
