This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from Trumpeter captures the Chinese J-20 Mighty Dragon fighter. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with finely engraved panel lines and clear parts for the cockpit. Thanks to the small scale it is a quick and undemanding build for a display case.
The J-20 is a single-seat twin-engine fighter with technologies that reduce radar reflection, developed in China. The prototype first flew at the start of 2011 and the machine became the first Chinese aircraft of its category to enter series service. It is marked by a long fuselage, canards at the front and internal weapons bays.
Use liquid cement for plastic to join the parts. An airbrush and fine shading of the panels suit the modern gray camouflage scheme. Pick out the engraving with a panel wash and finish the cockpit with gloss varnish over the instrument decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
