The Nordenfelt IV follows on from the series of experimental submarines driven by a steam engine that Thorsten Nordenfelt and George Garrett designed in the 1880s. The vessel built up steam pressure on the surface and used it for a short run under water. The Nordenfelt series belongs to the very beginnings of combat submarines.
This modern plastic kit captures the hull of the machine in the collector's scale of 1:144. The package contains plastic parts, decals and assembly instructions; paints and glue are not included. Collectors of historic vessels will appreciate the set.
