This is neither a model nor a set of wheels but a small aid: adapters with which the manufacturer solves the different wheel mountings of two different kit brands. The manufacturer states the set is for fitting Aoshima wheels to Tamiya parts. The Yamamoto Model Parts brand specializes in printed accessories for automotive models in 1:24 scale and, according to the supplier, is run by a Polish manufacturer; adapter sets are a permanent part of its range.
Automotive modeling is built on combining parts. Wheels and rims are the most common swap of all, because they are what gives a model its character. The trouble is that every brand solves the wheel mounting differently: a different pin diameter, a different depth, a different way of seating the brake. An adapter makes up that difference, so a rim from another brand can be fitted without drilling and shimming. The size always has to be tried on the particular kit, though, because even within one brand the parts differ between sets.
First wash the print residue off the parts and cut off the supports; sand the marks carefully and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Always test-fit dry first and only then glue; if the pin is tight, open the hole out with a drill bit in small steps. Fit the wheels only after painting, so that the adapter can still be adjusted. Check the alignment and the same wheel offset on both sides while you do it, because an uneven track shows at once on a finished model.
The set contains adapters only. The wheels, the kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
