ICM American mechanics (1910s) 1:24 is a set of three plastic figures for bringing scenes with a period automobile of the early 20th century to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of three injection-molded plastic figures of American mechanics from around 1910 in 1:24 scale from ICM (Ukraine). The figures are in working poses with tools and are designed to complete a scene with a period automobile of the early 20th century, for example a Ford Model T in the same scale. Because the arms, legs and heads are separate parts, the figures can be assembled in several variations of pose.
The turn of the first decade of the 20th century was a time of rapid growth in mass automobile production in the United States. The mechanics who looked after the first mass-produced cars dealt with simple but trouble-prone engines and drivetrains. The figures capture period clothing and tools and suit the building of a garage or street scene.
Cut the parts from the sprue, clean up the mold seams and join them with liquid cement for plastic. For faces and clothing a coat of primer works well, followed by layered shades and fine shading with oils or a wash. Do not glue the arms and heads permanently until you have checked the pose you want against the car model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
