An injection-molded plastic kit of the collectible Ford GT in its racing specification for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2017 in 1:24 scale from Revell. The kit contains around ninety parts, soft rubber tires, a complete roll cage and a rich decal sheet for a faithful racing finish. The body is broken up so that the low aerodynamic profile of the car shows to advantage.
The second-generation Ford GT returned to the circuits fifty years after the marque's famous victory over Ferrari. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6, and the body combines carbon composite with prominent aerodynamic features. In 2017 the car confirmed the form of the previous season and enjoyed success in GTE-Pro endurance racing.
Use thin modeling cement for plastic on the joints. The body is best sprayed with an airbrush over a primer and finished with a gloss coat, which evens out the surface and protects the decals. The engine compartment and the interior can be handled with a brush. Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss surface and fix them with a decal softener, so that they settle into the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
