Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the historic American Ford Model T delivery car of 1912 in the form used for delivering gasoline, completed with figures of gasoline loaders. This well shaped kit from the Ukrainian maker ICM catches the eye with the fine detail of its body, its separate wooden-spoked wheels and its period fuel containers. The vehicle and the figures together make a striking little scene from the beginning of the automobile age.
The Ford Model T was the legendary mass-produced automobile that brought motoring within reach of the broad public. Utility versions served the most varied purposes, including the delivery of fuel and goods. The open, slender body and the high wooden-spoked wheels are characteristic of the early 20th century.
You bond the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. The vehicle shows to advantage with a combination of a glossy black body and metallic details; set the wooden and brass items apart in different shades. The figures come alive once the flesh and the clothing have been painted and a fine wash applied. The whole looks splendid on a simple diorama base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
