Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the historic Type AG London taxi of 1910 in 1:24 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. The kit stands out for its finely shaped body, the open driver's position and the characteristic enclosed passenger compartment. Assembled, the vehicle is an impressive representative of Edwardian era transport and a rewarding collector's piece.
The Type AG was one of the first series-operated London taxis with a gasoline engine, which replaced the horse-drawn cabs. It was marked by a tall, slender body, a separate and uncovered driver's seat and an enclosed compartment for passengers. Vehicles of this type became one of the symbols of the London of the day.
The parts are glued with a thin modeling cement for plastic. The elegant look is helped by a combination of a dark body finish with metal and brass details on the lamps and the radiator. Bring out the spoked wheels and the fine elements in different shades; a gloss varnish gives the body its period elegance.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
