This is neither a model of a car nor a kit but a standalone detail part. It represents a water cooler intended for the engine bay of a model in 1:24 scale and it is made by Yamamoto Model Parts, a brand of accessories for tuning, modified and racing builds. The letter C in the name distinguishes one of the forms the manufacturer carries alongside each other; check the differences between them in the manufacturer's catalog.
On a model with the hood open, the cooler together with the engine is the main thing on view. The plastic part from a kit usually has the core only suggested, or created with coarse engraving. A separately made cooler has a finer structure, sharper edges and stands up better to a close photograph. At the same time it is a common component of conversions, where the stock cooler is replaced by a different shape or a larger type.
Before the build, wash the part in lukewarm soapy water so that the surface is not greasy. Cut the remains of the casting system off with a saw or a knife and wet sand the surface, with respiratory protection. It is glued with super glue or with epoxy, because cement for plastic does not hold. Always apply a primer before painting. The core of the cooler comes into its own in a dark metallic shade brought out with a dry brush, while the frame is set apart with an aluminum or a paint shade. Hoses and fittings are added from wire or fine tubing according to the car being built.
This is an accessory part, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
