This injection-molded plastic kit captures the open Corvette C3 of 1968 in the version with the legendary L88 engine. It is a 2-in-1 release: the model can be built as a factory L88 roadster or as a sharp street machine. The parts are molded in white, clear and transparent red, with chrome-plated fittings, soft tires and a decal sheet.
The third generation of the Corvette (C3) made its debut in 1968 with shapes inspired by the Mako Shark II concept. The L88 variant was built for pure performance: the 427 cubic inch big-block V8 was among the most powerful engines of its day and makes this roadster a sought-after collector's item.
Spray the body over filler primer and even it out with gloss varnish to a high shine. Finish and fit the engine and the interior before the body is closed up. Glue the chrome-plated and clear parts only after painting, ideally by spot-gluing with superglue so that no fogging occurs. Apply the decals onto a smooth glossy surface and seal them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
