A plastic kit of the modern American Chevrolet Corvette C8 sports car in its open convertible version, in 1:25 scale from the maker Revell. In the Model Set version the package is conceived as a starter set: besides the injection-molded parts, rubber tires, decals and instructions it also contains a basic set of Aqua Color paints, glue and a brush. It is therefore an ideal choice for beginners and as a gift.
The Corvette C8 is the generation that broke with tradition, the first in which Chevrolet moved the engine to the middle of the car, behind the cabin. It is powered by a 6.2 liter gasoline V8 and has been built since 2020. The convertible has a retractable hardtop and the engine on show under the rear glazing.
Glue the plastic parts with a modeling cement for plastic, ideally a thin one with a capillary action. Before painting we recommend degreasing the surface and spraying it with a primer. The body is best finished with an airbrush, and a clear coat over the gloss surface will give a deep shine. The acrylic Aqua Color paints included are thinned with water.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. In the Model Set version the paints, glue and brush are included in the package.
