This injection-molded plastic kit in the large 1:32 scale captures the American Stearman (Boeing) Model 75 trainer biplane in the PT-17 and N2S-3 versions. The modern tooling from ICM stands out for its fine surface and the faithfully rendered engine and cockpit area. The model is built from sprues, glued and painted.
The Stearman Model 75, known as the Kaydet, was the basic trainer biplane on which thousands of American pilots learned to fly during the Second World War. It served with the US Army Air Forces under the designation PT-17 and with the navy as the N2S. Its sturdy construction and easy handling made it a legendary training machine, and many examples still fly today.
Give attention to building the radial engine and the struts between the wings. Finish the cockpit before closing it up, spray the base with primer and lay the striking training colors on with an airbrush. Rigging the bracing wires between the wings gives the model a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
