A plastic kit of the British Bedford O series truck in 1:35 scale from Riich Models. The box is laid out as four variants in one: it lets you build both the flatbed and the dump versions in several forms. The model has a worked-out cab interior, so there is something to show even with the doors open.
Bedford trucks were among the most widespread British military vehicles of the Second World War. They carried supplies, ammunition and men, towed trailers, and in the rear echelons they did more work than many a combat vehicle. The O series was built in many forms according to the task, from a flatbed with a tarpaulin through a dump truck to special bodies, and it served long after the war in civilian use.
Finish and paint the cab interior before you close it up. Build the bed and the frame separately, so that they can be painted comfortably. The British military green looks better when it is lifted with a gentle lighter tone on the horizontal surfaces and set off with a dust effect around the wheel arches. The wooden parts of the bed take an undercoat and highlighting of the wood grain well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
