An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from ICM. The set treats a scene with a mobile field chapel on the chassis of an American truck, completed by figures of a military chaplain and soldiers. The package contains polystyrene parts for the vehicle, the fittings of the chapel and decals. It is an unusual subject for a figure scene of the Second World War.
Field chapels served during the Second World War for religious ministry directly in the field. An improvised chapel on the chassis of a truck made it possible to move between units. The fittings included a portable altar and liturgical vessels. The set captures a quiet moment before action and is meant for a factual, period-faithful treatment.
Assemble the chassis and the body of the vehicle first and only then add the fittings of the chapel. Paint the small fittings and the figures separately. Bring the vehicle together with a base shade and add fine wear; give care to painting the faces and equipment of the figures.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
