A command post in ruins in 1:35: the English command center ruin from the Italian maker Royal Model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A command post set up in a damaged building, worked as a backdrop for a tableau in 1:35. The goods belong among the equipment of a scene: they determine where the story is set and give the figures a reason why they have gathered over a map in just this place.
In western Europe in 1944, British staffs settled into whatever was left: into farms, schools or townhouses that had survived the bombing at least in part. Around such a place signals equipment, dispatch riders on motorcycles and light armored vehicles were concentrated. A ruin with its shelter left standing therefore gives a tableau its logic. A signals exchange moved into such a building as well, so cables ran around it and field masts stood nearby.
When putting the scene together, think of the view from outside and from inside alike: the inner walls are worth treating in a different shade from the facade. Brick surfaces gain in believability when you differentiate the individual bricks very slightly. Spread the rubble unevenly, with most of it where a piece of wall is missing, and complete it with broken tile and dust. Sand the thresholds and the steps into a rounder shape, as sharp edges look untouched.
The goods arrive in a raw state without shades and without accessories for the scene; everything else depends on your own intention.
