Photo-etched metal fenders and exhaust covers for a model of the Tiger I tank in the early version from the African theater, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I is a German heavy tank of the Second World War, recognizable by its angular shape, wide tracks and long gun. The early production runs differ from the later ones in a number of external details, and the machines used in North Africa also had modifications for operating in heat and dust. The fenders and the exhaust covers are among the places where those differences show most clearly, and also among the first things on the real machine to suffer from the terrain.
Photo-etched metal parts in 1:35 scale and the manufacturer's instructions. A fender in plastic always comes out several times thicker than the sheet on the real machine, and at the edge that is visible at first glance. A photo-etched part has a thickness comparable to paper, so the edge stays sharp and the whole outline of the tank is refined. It can also be shaped: a bent, dented or partly missing fender is one of the most rewarding details of a battle-worn machine.
The tank kit, paints, primer and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
