This photo-etched accessory from Panzerkraft is NOT a tank model but a fine detail intended to improve a build. The Feststellstift is the locking pin of the gun barrel travel lock, with which the tank's gun was secured while on the move. The set in 1:35 scale is enough for ten vehicles of the Panzer IV Ausf. F to J series.
The Panzer IV was the backbone of the German tank units of the Second World War. The F to J versions went through gradual improvement of both armor and armament and are among the most frequently built subjects in 1:35 scale. Small details such as the gun travel lock raise the fidelity of the finished model considerably.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a backing board, form the bends over an etch bender or a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a base coat before painting for better adhesion.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
