A plastic figure set, French Infantry in Gas Masks (1916), in 1:35 scale from ICM - French infantry in gas masks from the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The set captures French infantry in gas masks in 1916, that is in the First World War period. The figures in period uniforms and with their characteristic respiratory protection create an oppressive, authentic atmosphere of trench warfare.
The year 1916 was among the hardest periods of the First World War, and gas attacks became a feared weapon of trench fighting. French infantrymen therefore wore early forms of gas mask that allowed them to survive in a contaminated area. The set faithfully captures the period equipment, the uniforms and the typical look of a soldier in a mask, which makes it a powerful subject for dioramas recalling the horrors of the Great War.
Cut the parts away carefully and clean up the joints thoroughly. Glue the figures first and treat them with a primer. Spray the uniforms in the base blue-gray tone typical of the French army and bring them out with glazes and a dry brush. Finish the masks and the equipment with a brush, and suggest the weathering and the mud of the trenches with washes and pigments on the boots and the lower parts of the clothing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
