Injection-molded plastic figure set German Assault Troops (1917–1918) in 1:35 scale from ICM - four figures of assault detachments from the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from ICM captures German assault troops from the late stage of the First World War. The set contains four figures - an NCO and three soldiers in dynamic, action poses, with the equipment typical of the assault detachments (the Stosstruppen). The figures suit trench and assault dioramas.
The German assault detachments of 1917 and 1918 were trained to push quickly through enemy trenches and to break open defensive lines. Their equipment was lighter than that of ordinary infantry and adapted to close combat: stocks of hand grenades were common, along with a lighter load and adapted gear. The uniforms match the closing period of the war on the Western Front.
Cut the parts from the sprues, clean up the sprue gates and the mold lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; glue the small parts such as the hands, the weapons and the grenades separately and watch the continuity of the action poses. Paint the figures with a brush - the faces and hands with a layering technique, the uniforms in muted field gray with a fine wash in the folds and a light dry brush on the edges. Mount the figures on a temporary stand while you work.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
