German infantry in gas masks 1918 (1:35, ICM) is a set of plastic figures of First World War soldiers with gear and armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic set of figures captures German infantrymen from the last year of the First World War equipped with gas masks. The package holds four characters including a non-commissioned officer, plus additional gear and armament typical of 1918. The 1:35 scale suits dioramas as well as display cases. The maker is the ICM brand.
The year 1918 was the culmination of trench warfare, in which war gases were among the most feared weapons. German infantry therefore routinely carried protective masks and the corresponding gear. The figures recall the harsh conditions of the Western Front and suit the reconstruction of scenes from the end of the war.
Separate the parts with a cutter, clean up the sprue gates and glue them with cement for plastic (a thin liquid cement suits well). We recommend a primer and painting with an airbrush or a brush; field gray uniforms benefit from subtle shading and from bringing out the leather equipment. You can bring the masks and the gear to life with weathering.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
