An injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from ICM. The set contains four figures of German assault troops (Sturmtruppen) of 1918, that is, from the end of the First World War. The figures are caught in action poses with period weapons and equipment. They come on sprues and have to be glued and painted.
The Sturmtruppen were German assault troops developed at the close of the First World War. They came about as an answer to trench warfare: they were to break through the enemy defenses by infiltration tactics, rapid advance and surprise. They were equipped with light machine guns, large numbers of hand grenades, trench knives and, as pioneers in this, with submachine guns. These elite detachments played a key part in the German offensives of 1918.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the parting lines and the sprue gates. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Paint the field gray (feldgrau) uniforms in acrylics, use a dark wash in the folds and bring out the edges with a dry brush. Build the faces up in thinned layers. A matte varnish at the end will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
