A set of injection-molded plastic figures of a German tank crew of the years 1943 to 1945 in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The box contains five tank crewmen in various poses, dressed in the late variant of the German tank uniform. The figures suit populating a model of a German tank and bringing dioramas to life.
The crew of a German tank of this period consisted of the commander, the gunner, the loader, the driver and the radio operator, who also served as the bow machine gunner. The set captures the crew in relaxed as well as working poses, as is usual during a rest or while servicing the vehicle. It is a historical rendering of the soldiers of the period for display and for diorama scenes.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprues, clean up the parting lines and glue them with modeling cement for plastic. Lay down a base (primer) before painting; paint the tank uniform and shade it with lights and shadows, and handle the faces with the technique of gradual layers. Place the figures on the tank model or around it so that the diorama looks lively. A fine wash will add the weathering.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
